Outpatient Mental Health Programs

#5185 (40 hrs) Child & Family Therapist- MH: Works as a member of a collaborative treatment team to provide screening, assessment, and treatment (including individual, group, and family therapy) to children ages 0-18. Requires Master’s degree in a social services related area. Licensed or Registered Intern preferred. Must have therapeutic experience working with children and adolescents. Hours include one day a week of late afternoon appointments.

Manatee Glens Walk-In Center

Provides crisis intervention, immediate assessment, referral and short term counseling to those in need of mental health and/or substance abuse services.

4242 (40 hrs) MH Counselor, Walk-In Center: Provide assessments, short term counseling, drug screening, crisis intervention in house and in the community including on call hours with the Mobile Crisis unit. Schedule is Mon-Fri, with hours alternating each week 9am – 5:30pm & 12:30pm – 9pm. Requires Master’s degree in Psychology, Social work or Counseling and experience working with individuals with mental health disorders.

Children’s Community Action Treatment Team (CAT)
Provides comprehensive community-based services to children and youth ages 5-18 and their families who have been identified with intensive mental health and substance abuse diagnosis.

Florida Assertive Community Treatment Team (FACT)
Provides comprehensive community treatment, rehabilitation and support services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses.

 

Florida licensed, Board Certified or Board Eligible Adult Psychiatrist to work in a team environment with the Florida Assertive Community Treatment Team (FACT), a hospital without walls for chronically mentally ill adults. Will also work eight additional hours per week in a combination of inpatient and outpatient treatment.  Experience with co-occurring mental illness and addiction essential; bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.  Candidates will also take rotating call, approximately one week in five. Designated area of need for loan repayment and other waiver programs.

#5184 (40 hrs) Team Leader- FACT: A clinical and administrative supervisor who establishes, administers, and directs the FACT Team. The team leader in conjunction with the psychiatrist has overall responsibility for monitoring each client’s clinical status and response to treatment, supervising staff delivery of clinical services to ensure a standard of service excellence, and functions as a practicing clinician on the team. Requires Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or Rehabilitation Counseling with current FL Registered Intern status or licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT). Also requires three year’s experience working with severe and persistent mental health disorders and one year’s supervisory experience.

Inpatient Programs   

 

#5339 (40 hrs) Care Manager Supervisor- Access Center: Supervises the Access Center staff. Requires experience in an Access Center environment and knowledge of precertification, finance, and will be an on call member of the finance team.

 

The Hospital and CSU units will have a new schedule starting January 27 for Nurses and Tech's. 

  • The majority of positions will be Full-time, 36 hours/week with three rotating 12 hour shifts.
  • Day shifts are 7am-7:30 pm and night shifts are 7pm-7:30am.
  • Positions include at least two Saturday or two Sunday shifts a month.

Registered / Licensed Practical Nurse:  Provide variety of nursing care services to clientsRequires current Florida License with psychiatric experience.

Mental Health Technician: Provides assistance, supervision and coordination of therapeutic activities related to the daily living skills of clients.  Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 1 year experience in a mental health setting (college courses may be substituted for experience.)   Provides support services to clients.

#5964 (40 hrs) Family Care Coordinator: Provide case management services for children ages 6-23 in Child Welfare. Requires Bachelors degree in Psychology, Social Work or related degree and one year’s child welfare case management experience. Also requires valid FL driver’s license and safe driving record.
